Fakie

Over the past year, Fakie has become my adventure companion. He accompanies me everywhere - whether I'm in the middle of a kitesurfing session, on a hike or on some other outing.

In the illustration you can see here, Fakie watches over me like a real lifeguard during my kitesurfing session, never taking his eyes off me for a second.

Over time, I've had the pleasure of seeing his mane grow, a detail that inspired the name of my graphic design project.

Taken into refuge when he was already mature enough to bear the marks of a difficult past, Fakie has been through times that have had a profound effect on him. Every day, I try to help him overcome his fears and anxieties. Little by little, he's making progress: he's feeling better, facing up to his fears and opening up more and more to the world around him.
